Turvapaik
        Safe Place
Festivali Prima Vista 2024 projektiruum Tartu Linnaraamatukogus, Tartu 2024
„Turvapaik“ on Eike Epliku ja Olha Povoroznõki interdistsiplinaarne koostööprojekt festivalil Prima Vista 2024.
Projekti lähtepunktiks on luuletused, mille Olha kirjutas Tartus residentuuris viibides ning mida võib vaadelda kui tema Eesti-kogemuse poeetilist päevikut. Esitletakse ka videot, mis valmis luuletaja ja skulptori ühisloominguna. Koos loodi kujundlik paik, mida saab pidada turvapaigaks.
Eike Epliku installatsioon koosneb kahest osast: „Isiklik ruum – Metskitse ase“ ja „Turvapaik“. Teosed on omavahel tugevalt seotud ja käsitlevad kahte võimalikku turvapaika, üks neist väline ja teine sisemine turvapaik. Tekib küsimus, kumb on neist rohkem päris?
In English
Safe Place is an interdisciplinary collaboration project by Eike Eplik and Olha Povorozhnyk at the Prima Vista 2024 festival.
The starting point of the project is the poems that Olha wrote while staying in residency in Tartu, which can be seen as her poetic diary of the Estonian experience. A video created as a joint work of the poet and the sculptor will also be presented. Together, they created a figurative space that can be considered a safe place.
Eike Eplik's installation consists of two parts: "Personal Space – The Place of the Roe Deer" and "Safe Place". The works are strongly connected to each other and deal with two possible safe places, one external and the other internal. The question arises, which of them is more real?
